ABA PAY at R855: Paying by QR from an ABA Account
If you already bank with ABA, the useful questions are not about the app itself. They are whether R855's cashier offers ABA PAY to your account, how the money gets back to you afterwards, and how to keep a QR payment from ending up in a stranger's account. This page answers those three in that order.

What ABA PAY actually is
ABA Bank — Advanced Bank of Asia Limited — was founded in 1996, is a subsidiary of National Bank of Canada and is the largest commercial bank in Cambodia by assets, deposits and loans. Its mobile banking app is ABA Mobile, and ABA PAY is the bank's QR payment: you scan a code and the money leaves your ABA account or card directly, with no separate wallet to fund first. For a casino deposit that detail is useful. The payment is a debit from an account in your own name, so the name check on the operator's side is simple, and the record sits in your banking history rather than in a wallet you might forget about. The product names here come from ABA's official pages; the screens inside the app can change, so read what your own phone shows.
Depositing with ABA PAY — how it usually goes
- Open R855 on the operator's real address — typed by you or saved as a bookmark, never taken from a chat link — and log in.
- Go to the deposit tab of the cashier and pick ABA PAY if it is listed. Enter the amount in your account currency.
- The cashier shows a QR code or a payment request. Scan it with ABA Mobile; on the same phone, the page may offer to open the app instead.
- On the confirmation screen in ABA Mobile, read the payee name, the amount and the currency before you approve with your PIN or fingerprint.
- Keep the transaction reference from the ABA receipt until the deposit shows on your balance.
Treat every cashier QR as single-use. Generate a fresh one for each deposit instead of reusing a screenshot of an old code, because an old code may belong to a payment session that has already closed.
Withdrawing when you deposited with ABA PAY
QR payments run one way: a code lets you pay, it does not let anyone pay you back through it. The withdrawal leg is therefore usually a transfer to a bank account in your name — your ABA account number is the obvious candidate — or another payout method that the cashier lists for withdrawals. Some operators also ask that money leaves by the same route it arrived where that is possible, so look at the withdrawal tab before you deposit, not after you win. When you request a payout, type the account name exactly as ABA Mobile shows it and check the account number twice. The request normally moves from pending to approved to paid; once it reads paid, the money appears in your ABA history as an incoming transfer. How long each stage takes depends on the operator's review and on bank processing.
Riel or dollar: which account to pay from
Cambodia runs on two currencies. The riel is the national currency and is used for everything in rural areas; the US dollar is common in cities and for larger sums. Before paying, compare the currency of the account you pay from with the currency of your R855 balance. When they differ, someone converts the money — the bank or the payment processor — at a rate that includes a margin, and the same thing happens again on the way out. As an illustration only, at the unofficial rate of about 4,100 riel to the dollar a 20-dollar deposit corresponds to roughly 82,000 riel before any margin.
Four checks before you approve
- Where the QR came from. It must be on the cashier page you opened yourself, on the domain you typed.
- Who receives the money. If the payee is a private person whose name you were given in a chat, stop.
- Amount and currency. They should match what you entered in the cashier, to the riel or the cent.
- Whose account pays. Only your own. Paying from a relative's account creates a name mismatch that usually surfaces at the first withdrawal.
ABA-specific scams to ignore
The most common trick is an agent in Telegram, Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp who sends a QR for a quick R855 top-up with a bonus included. Paying it moves money from your ABA account to the agent's, nothing reaches your casino balance, and there is no operator to complain to. The second is the edited receipt: a screenshot of a successful ABA payment proves nothing, because images are easy to fake — trust only the history inside your own app. The third is a request for your ABA Mobile PIN, an SMS code or a one-time password, which no cashier and no support desk needs. The fourth is the message saying a withdrawal is blocked until you pay a release fee to a personal account. A payout never requires a separate payment to a stranger.
The method list and limits depend on the account — check in R855's cashier. ABA PAY is listed on this site as a method to look for; we have not confirmed that R855 offers it, and minimums, fees and processing times are whatever the cashier shows you.
ABA PAY questions
Does R855 accept ABA PAY?
Can I withdraw back to ABA PAY?
Someone on Telegram offers to top up my R855 balance through ABA. Is that normal?
Should I pay from a riel or a dollar account?
Cambodian law — the Law on the Management of Commercial Gambling — does not allow Cambodian citizens to gamble, and in September 2026 the government announced the suspension of all online operations at casinos from the start of October 2026. A payment method being available says nothing about whether playing is legal for you.
